What is not included
The standard Diagnostic does not include implementation, remediation, code changes, production changes, penetration testing, legal advice, compliance or security certification, performance guarantees, customer guarantees, unlimited systems, unlimited stakeholders or unlimited revisions. Material scope expansion requires a separate proposal.
How the engagement works
A fit conversation confirms the buyer, decision question, source packet, deadline, scope, exclusions and confidentiality boundary. Decision Crafters then confirms whether the question fits one bounded Diagnostic and names any material exclusions.
Fifty percent is due before substantive work begins. A 60-minute intake confirms the facts, decision context, stakeholders and evidence boundaries. The accepted source packet is then reviewed, separating fact from inference, hypothesis and unknown.
The remaining fifty percent is due before the final readout and the release of the final deliverable. One bounded written clarification round is available within 14 days.
Price
$2,500 standard fixed fee. 50% before substantive work begins; 50% before the final readout and final-deliverable release.
No default discount is offered during the first five qualified actions. A pricing exception requires a separate decision.
Confidentiality and boundaries
Identify confidential or restricted material before transfer, and confirm that everything submitted is owned, licensed and permitted for review. Decision Crafters reviews only the bounded source packet accepted for the engagement. The Diagnostic does not require employer-confidential, customer-confidential, personal or unrelated information. Production access, legal interpretation, security certification and implementation authority remain with you.
What is established now, and what is not
Available today: a public technical body of work; an accepted bounded service scope; a fixed fee and payment structure; and an evidence-labelled deliverable structure with explicit alternatives, risks, actions and success or stop conditions.
Not established: paid-client outcomes, testimonials, conversion rates, repeatable delivery-time evidence across paid engagements, verified willingness to pay at this fee, or any security, compliance, reliability, performance or transformation guarantee. Those are unknowns, and they are named here rather than implied away.
When this is not the right engagement
The standard Diagnostic is the wrong fit when you expect implementation, remediation, production access or code changes inside the fixed fee; when the source packet spans multiple unrelated systems or an undefined transformation program; when you need legal, compliance, penetration-testing or certification conclusions; when no decision owner, bounded decision question or current source packet can be identified; or when the materials are not owned, licensed or permitted for external review.
